Situated on Whadjuk and Pindjarup Noongar lands, Murdoch University was founded over 40 years ago on principles of social inclusion, equity and free-thinking. Today, we remain a university for all, irrespective of social, cultural or economic backgrounds.
Through our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy 2019–2021, we affirm our commitment to improving Indigenous equity across our workforce. We invite you to help us achieve our goals – and yours – by registering your interest for career opportunities through our talent register.
About our talent register
The Talent Register is part of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy, supporting the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and our commitment to increasing employment, development and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander 工作人员. The core goals within our Employment Strategy include:
Parity in employment
Progress towards the parity target of having Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander 工作人员 constitute 3% of our employees.
An employer of choice
Become an employer of choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Western Australia.
Path for recruitment
Establish a recruitment pathway to harness the existing and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student population at Murdoch.
If you are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage and want to progress your career in an inclusive and supportive environment, 请 register your interest in working with us. Current Murdoch students are encouraged to register. 注册, fill in the online form and attach a copy of your current CV and a cover letter explaining your previous experience and the type of role you are interested in.
Once registered, you will enter the pool of candidates to be considered against current vacancies. In an effort to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander 工作人员, positions may also be created dependant on your skills and experience.
A member of our People and Culture team will contact you to discuss the types of opportunities you are interested in.
Registration on the talent register does not guarantee an employment offer, however it can make it easier for you to be considered for future positions. Prior to any placements, regular selection and screening processes will apply in line with our Recruitment 政策.
